    Anna is a very friendly Russian woman from San Francisco, California visited Thessaloniki for some personal reasons. She had the privilege to do some day tours, city tours and got to know Northern Greece with us! We had some wonderful walks in the city center and we explored the most interesting suburbs. We also visited mount Olympus, where we met snow of course, because it was January! We were about to visit the Meteora rocks also but the snowstorms of the last days made Anna rescedule it for nextyear!  😀  (more…)

It took us 2 designers (one in London-currently sunbathing in Maldives with her husband- and one working hard in Thessaloniki), one passionate photographer, one marketing freak and myself to create the most cute and useful Calendar for this year!   • Glyka & Fotis September 2016


    Glyka & Fotis are a young couple from Greece that live in Copenhagen, Denmark for many years and often come back for vacations and to see their families. So, during their last visit in Thessaloniki contacted BeenThere.eu to arrange a half-day tour. When l met them, they asked me for a tour that will include “a beach with crystal clear water”, “not far away from Thessaloniki” and “a healthy Greek snack”.   • A Travelogue for the back side of Mt. Olympus.


    There is a route of about 70Km at the back side of Mt. Olympus that makes you wanna live there for ever! The food is awesome cause most of the people there are breeders or farmers and their products are always fresh. The road is between Mt.Olympus and the Pierian Mountains, which means that the view is always going to be green and thick mountains of pines and beeches. (more…)

  • If you ever visit Thessaloniki, put Mt. Hortiatis on your visit list!


    If it’s a cold and sunny day, everybody would dream a day playing with the snow or a hot drink by the fireplace. You can do both in mount Hortiatis! Is less than 60′ driving from down town, so when you visit Thessaloniki for 3 or 4 days and you want to spent the morning into the nature I would definitely suggest you to schedule it. (more…)

  • Mount Dikeos means “fair” and it’s in Kos island!


    Have you ever visited Kos island and hiked Mt. Dikeos? If not, please, put it on your list cause that island is extra touristic and you will need an unexploited spot with a sense of authenticity. One of those is Mt. Dikeos, is only  846 m high but you can see from its’ top at least 3 more islands and the coast of Turkey! (more…)
